Apple Music: Making the Most of Your Music

Music is a staple of many people’s everyday lives; it’s practically impossible to walk around my college campus and not see people with their headphones in. I remember being young and having to buy and download music onto my MP3 player, but now platforms like Apple Music make it easy to access a wide variety of music at my fingertips.Apple Music give users access to a wide range of music and lets them store it in their music library. However, it is not all easily accessible because:Without searching a specific song, music is hard to find.There is no hierarchy to the song in the library.

How do people access their music?

When looking at the organization of music within the app, I first had to look at how people access the music they want to listen to. Within the app the core features for users to go about selecting music are the Library, the For You section, the Browse section, The Radio section, and Search option. Based off my own experience with the app, I predicted that were not all used equally, and my user research reflected that
